Petersen Rock Garden

Petersen Rock Gardens was an off-the-beaten path, quirky, and fun spot to visit. It's a self service site with an honor box for donations and fees. Seester had a blast running around hunting down all the peacocks for pictures. Previous reviewers complain about the decay and trash, but when we went the grounds were cleaned up and the rock creations were restored. Rasmus Petersen built replicas of buildings and monuments as a tribute to the US. He used rocks, petrified wood, glass, and shells that he found around Redmond. (To read more click here)

In my opinion, it's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

  1. Wow! That looks really cool! I've never even heard of such a place. It's funny all the little neat stops that exist all over our country...
